The Buyer Beware List is meant to inform the public of businesses or individuals who have not responded to written complaints or who have failed to provide resolutions as promised. The list contains information on complaints received from October 15, 2003 through June 30, 2009. Additions to the list were suspended due to budgetary constraints.

- When may a business or individual be removed from the list?
In order for a business to be removed, ALL of their outstanding complaints must be answered in writing.
- What criteria is used for a business or individual to be added to the list?
(1) The business does not respond to a complaint; (2) The business response is received but the resolution is not provided as promised; or (3) A complaint extension is requested by the business or individual, but a response is not received.
- What information will be included on the BUYER BEWARE LIST?
The list contains the name and address of the business.
